Michael continues to research and develop his style of acupuncture treatment to include mild, low voltage electrical pulse generation on acupuncture points, to improve pain relief and stroke conditions. Over the last 2 years Michael has developed excellent treatment protocols for Eczema and Psoriasis conditions of the face, body and scalp. Painful sports injuries and post operative pain respond very well to this type of treatment especially where other types of treatment have failed. Painful Knee, hip and sciatic problems are common conditions which present on a regular basis and are improved with the techniques Michael uses. Also, a variety of neck and shoulder dysfunctions either from sports injury (rugby, football, golf, archery etc) or car and motorcycle accidents have been improved dramatically when treated by Michael. |

Emotional Conditions |
New clinic appointments over the last few years have seen an increase in Stress, Anxiety and depression conditions. Patients suffering panic attacks are also more common. This may well be due to the effects of a more hurried, stress filled lifestyle which most of us have to deal with these days. Acupuncture can provide tremendous relief for these conditions and in some instances improvements can be seen after a few treatments. Because of the increase in demand for acupuncture to help with these problems Michael has gained a huge amount of experience in effectively treating such cases with men, women and children. WHO Acupuncture and The NIH Consensus Study | | In 2003, the World Health Organization published a landmark study, titled "Acupuncture: Review and Analysis of Reports on Controlled Clinical Trials".
